Black Women Building Detroit

  • BasBlue Detroit 110 East Ferry Street Detroit, MI, 48202 United States (map)

Interior Design. Architecture. Construction. Real Estate.

This one’s for us.

Why This Gathering Exists

Detroit is still being shaped.

Every day, women across interior design, architecture, construction, and real estate are influencing how this city is imagined, built, experienced, owned, and remembered.

Yet we are rarely in the same room, across disciplines, across experience levels, across sectors, intentionally.

This gathering was created to change that.

What This Is

An intimate, intentionally curated evening for Black women and femmes working in Detroit’s built environment.

Not a panel.
Not a pitch competition.
Not just a business card exchange.

This is a sister-to-sister space for:

  • Real conversation

  • Shared stories

  • Cross-discipline connection

  • Strategic relationship-building

Capacity is intentionally limited to 16 guests to preserve presence, conversation, and meaningful connection.

Intentional & Curated

To ensure balance across sectors and experience levels, this gathering is curated thoughtfully.

If this round doesn’t include you, future gatherings are already in motion.

This is the beginning of something ongoing.
